Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated in real time by FedEx when you place your order on our website. Your shipping charges are computed by product weight, but FedEx rates are often determined by volume (dimensional weight). If the dimensional weight of your order is greater than the actual weight, the shopping cart may inaccurately quote your estimated shipping. Multiple boxes can also result in higher shipping costs. Should this affect your order, a customer service representative will contact you with an explanation.
After choosing a payment method, you will be given additional options for shipping. At this time you can get quotes from FedEX, UPS, and USPS and select the method you prefer.
International Orders
International orders are shipped by UPS.
International customers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, GST, VAT, brokerage fees, etc., that are applicable to their inbound shipments. These fees will be applied after the order is shipped by The Science Store, Inc. and billed by the carrier. Please visit www.ups.com for further information and explanation of fees involved when importing.
Orders shipped outside the United States and Canada are subject to further address verification before shipment is completed. A customer service representative will email you if this additional step is required.
